IKEA to complete two large projects in 2014

Inter IKEA Centre Polska, a development company, has announced that it intends to complete two projects in March 2014. As Retail Update Poland informed on a previous occasion, a new retail complex is to be built in Lublin. The centre will contain one of the largest IKEA stores in Poland. The facility will take up 35,000 m², and the adjacent retail complex, which will take up 41,000 m², will have around 200 stores.
The second project is the expansion of Bielany, a retail park in Wroclaw, which is to be enlarged by additional 65,000 m².The two projects are thought to be worth €200-300m.
The investor has not said whether it intends to carry out its earlier plans to expand its retail parks in Rzeszow and Poznan.
