Snuper.pl, an internet platform that collects rebates and coupons from various group shopping services and organises them for clients on one website, estimates that health and beauty services generated over PLN 72m (€16.2m) in sales by group shopping sites from January to August 2011.
The number of offers in the health and beauty categories increased by 100%, from about 1,900 in January to about 3,800 in August, while the average value of an offer more than doubled from PLN 118.28 (€26.56) in January to PLN 255.94 (€57.47) in August.
Most health and beauty discounts were purchased by women and May and June were the most active months. The leading group shopping services during the period in question selling the most health and beauty coupons were
Groupon.pl,
Gruper.pl and
MyDeal.pl.
