2011-12-23
Hygienika, a producer of baby diapers and hygienic products for women, wants to generate revenues of PLN 100-200m (€22.5-45.1m) by 2014 with net profitability of about 10%, CEO Kamil Kliniewski told the PAP press agency. He added that his goal is to build a strong regional capital group, which he likened to a “local Unilever”.
Growth is to be aided by acquisitions, and the company is in talks with five-six companies from its branch with annual revenues of PLN 10-100m (€2.3-22.5m). Transactions are to occur in H2 2012. Revenues should reach PLN 60-70m (€13.5-15.8m) with net profitability of about 6% next year, Mr Kliniewski said.
Hygienika has also gained a license for the distribution of low-percentage alcohol. It will decide how to use it in Q1 2012, but it would involve beer and wine.
Hygienika is looking to maintain a 25% sales growth dynamic through the end of 2011 with revenues expected to reach PLN 45m (€10.1m) for the year, along with a net profit of a few hundred thousand zloty. The company had revenues of PLN 34.7m (€7.8m) in Q1-Q3 2011, a 23% year-on-year increase, and a PLN 27,000 (€6,000) net profit, compared to a PLN 1.8m (€406,000) loss in Q1-Q3 2010.
