Two Kolastyna chairmen to work on development
2008-10-23
The Polish cosmetics group Kolastyna has divided corporate responsibilities between two chairmen: Jacek Szkurlat and Andrzej Grzegorzewski, the chairman of the supervisory board, according to Puls Biznesu. Jacek Szkurlat is to focus on organic growth in order to make the company’s brands more profitable, whereas Andrzej Grzegorzewski is to look for potential partners for the firm.
The company has not disclosed its financial prognosis or its strategy for subsequent years. At present, however, Kolastyna is not planning any acquisitions. Industry experts emphasise that groups such as Kolastyna might complete a number of acquisitions in the Eastern European countries, as the markets of that region are large and have considerable potential. The monetary value of companies has declined as a result of the financial crisis, which can be advantageous for a firm considering takeovers.
