PKM Duda sells its possessions in Ukraine

The Scandinavian fund
Alpcot Agro AB intends to purchase the Ukrainian agricultural branch of the Polish meat producer
PKM Duda for $3.5m at most.
The Alpcot Agro AB transaction is a consequence of the board’s plan to restructure the PKM Duda group by selling its unprofitable assets. This was announced by Dariusz Formela, a member of the company’s board, who is responsible for both the restructuring and the “Duda 2012” programme.
In accordance with the master agreement, the Stockholm-listed fund will purchase an equipped granary and grain warehouse, along with additional warehouse equipment and agricultural machinery in Ukraine, previously owned by the subsidiaries
Pieprzyk Rogatyn and
Rosan Agro.
