The Agriculture Property Agency (ANR), the organizer of a tender for the sale of the brewery in Czarnkow, has not received any bids. The Agency intended to sell the real estate together with the brewery for PLN 6.1m (€1.5m). A potential buyer was obliged to buy the brewery’s stock and maintain the workforce (34 employees) as well as adjust production to the requirements of the HACCP system.
The brewery in Czarnkow has been producing beer since 1893. It manufactures three types of beer that are produced in accordance with the traditional recipes. In 2010, the brewery will produce 30,000 hl of beer.
