The construction of an Ikea shopping complex in Lublin will not commence in 2010 as planned previously. The company needs to wait for changes in the spatial development plan that will be completed in 2010 or 2011. The estimated start date of the construction has not yet been revealed. Previously, Ikea planned to commence building in 2012/2013.
The complex is to have 100,000 m² that will be occupied by 200 tenants and an Ikea store of 30,000 m². The value of the investment is estimated at €150m.
