Immofinanz Group investment firm will invest €50m in an expansion of Silesia City Center, one of the largest retail complexes in the Slaskie voivodship, located in Katowice. The centre will be enlarged by 20,000 m² of new retail space that will be able to house 60 new tenants.
The expansion works have already commenced and the completion is scheduled for October 2011.
The new area will occupy two stories and will be connected by three squares. After the expansion Silesia will house 310 stores and will be the largest retail complex in the region. In addition to the retail area, a new parking lot with space for 500 cars will be added. In total, the complex will have 3,525 parking spaces.
The author of the enlargement project and the gallery’s previous project is Bose International Planning and Architecture.
