Echo Investment to develop Outlet Park project

Echo Investment development firm will construct an outlet centre in Szczecin instead of a shopping gallery under the Galeria Astra name that was planned previously, as retailnet.pl has reported. The complex under the Outlet Park Szczecin name will be the first outlet centre in the city and in the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship.
The mall will emerge by national road No.10 and it will have around 30,000 m² of total space. The leasable area will have 23,000 m² and a parking lot will have space for 1,400 cars.
In the first phase, a shopping gallery of 9,000 m² retail space, occupied by 60 stores, will be constructed, while the second and third construction stages will add 10,000 m² and 4,000 m² of usable areas, respectively. In total, the complex will house up to 130 tenants. Construction is scheduled to commence in January 2011 and the completion is planned for Q4 2011.
Echo Investments also reported that it will continue the Outlet Park projects in other cities in Poland.
