Burberry opens third store in Poland

Burberry, an exclusive British clothing brand, intends to open a new store in Poland. This will be the company’s third establishment on the Polish market and it will be located in Katowice, according to
Rzeczpospolita. The Katowice outlet will open in Silesia City Center and will take up 220 m². The British brand has been introduced to Poland by the
Paradise Group, which belongs to the
Alma Market group. Burberry’s other two stores are in Warsaw and Poznan.
The popularity of exclusive clothing brands is growing in Poland.
Carolina Herrera, the exclusive American clothing brand, recently opened its first Polish store, in Warsaw. In addition,
Salvatore Ferragamo fashion house
is planning more new establishments on the
Polish market. Furthermore,
Tod’s, a retailer of women's bags and shoes, is also considering entering Poland, whereas in September 2010 the
Powierza Family Company intends to launch a boutique belonging to a renowned Italian brand which has not yet been named. Other luxury brands such as
Prada,
Chanel and
Louis Vuitton may open outlets in the Bracka department store which is currently being built in Warsaw.
